Dine for a Cure

Volunteering can take up a lot of time and effort-- but if you help set up a Dine for a Cure fundraiser, you can raise money for awareness, education and research programs for Chiari malformation, syringomyelia and related disorders quickly and easily in your own hometown!

There are two ways to Dine for a Cure: you can hold a restaurant fundraiser, or you can host an awareness party right in your own home.

Restaurant fundraisers can be wildly successful in raising money and involve little to no preparation on your part! Most locally-owned and community restaurants are willing to donate a portion of their proceeds to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, just like CSF!

Just call or walk in to a local restaurant and ask how to get started!

Here are some examples of restaurants that frequently allow nonprofit fundraisers (and remember: there are plenty more!): Any local/family-owned restaurant, Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday, Dairy Queen, Chili’s, Bob Evans, Chevy’s, Chipotle, Panera Bread, etc.

Want to know who is most likely to support a cause that you care about? The people who care about YOU!

It’s true– psychologists have even studied it– people are more likely to give if you show them how and why a particular cause is important to you… so why not take some time to do just that?

Host a party or get-together at your place!

Get some friends and family together to educate them about these disorders with some of the great CSF materials available, then ask them for their support!
